Our Approach
Research
Our research will generate estimated travel time and distance metrics to emergency obstetric care facilities using Google Directions API and master health facility lists (including public and private facilities) retrieved from publicly available data sources across low- and middle countries.
Advocacy
The Consortium will establish robust mechanisms to ensure uptake of research evidence generated on the project amongst policymakers and other key stakeholders. This will involve engaging relevant stakeholders early in the process, embedding them all along project delivery, and capturing their insights to influence development of project outputs.
Open Data Generation
All data generated on the project will be curated and made available on open data repositories for use of other researchers.
